On February 10, the Local Economic Development Project (LEDP) of Helvetas held a working meeting with tour operators. The meeting aimed to discuss the needs of businesses and tourism service providers operating around Kolkheti National Park, explore ways to strengthen them, and assess opportunities for attracting investment.
During the meeting, tourism expert Natalia Bachtadze-Englender provided insights into the process of creating services for tour operators and strategies for addressing the needs of local service providers.
Notably, this meeting was a continuation of a previous working session, where participants explored the tourism potential of Kolkheti National Park, possible development directions, and the role of various organizations in this process.
LEDP continues its efforts to research and support initiatives that enhance the tourism potential of the area surrounding Kolkheti National Park. One such initiative includes the development of the Senaki-Lanchkhuti hiking trail and the improvement of maritime services in Poti and Lanchkhuti.
