On October 7th, LEDP hosted a workshop with our partners to explore the role of digital technologies and the challenges and opportunities surrounding the digitalization in local economic development process. The discussions focused on how digital solutions can enhance the efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability of the agricultural sector.
We were privileged to welcome Bojan Kolundzija, Team Leader of Helvetas’ OPTIM Project, who shared valuable insights from Moldova’s experience with agricultural innovations and tech solutions in LED.
The workshop brought together representatives from Enterprise Georgia, the Georgian Farmers Association, and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Association. Participants exchanged knowledge on the role of digital technologies in LED, key challenges faced by the sector, and potential funding opportunities for driving digital transformation. The LEDP team, with the involvement of partner organizations, will continue discussions on these issues in the future.
