On January 16-18, the local economic development project team held public-private dialogue workshops in Poti, Senaki and Zugdidi municipalities. The workshops were attended by members of local self-government, small and medium entrepreneurs, and representatives of local non-governmental organizations.
The purpose of the workshops was to discuss, the main issues of local economic development identified throughout the previous year, and to develop an actionable plan to be implemented in 2024. Participants also assessed the strengths and weaknesses of existing public-private dialogue practices and discussed ways to improve them.
The meetings were held with the support of the Poti Maritime Academy, Zugdidi Technopark, relevant City Halls and other local partners.
